Honey production in Oltrepò Pavese represents one of the agri-food excellences of the area, thanks to the rich vegetation variety and the quality of the hilly environment. In particular, the municipality of Colli Verdi, born in 2019 from the merger of the municipalities of Canevino, Ruino and Valverde, stands out for its uncontaminated landscape, ideal for beekeeping.

Here, bees find a perfect habitat among woods, flowery meadows and organic crops, far from sources of pollution. The variety of blooms – from chestnut to linden, from acacia to wild flowers – allows the production of high-quality monofloral and multi-flower honeys, highly appreciated for their unique and genuine aromatic profile. The small local beekeepers follow artisanal methods, respectful of natural cycles and the well-being of bees, with particular attention to environmental sustainability.

The honey produced in Colli Verdi is not just a food, but a symbol of slow and respectful agriculture, which enhances the territory and its traditions.
